The RMS Titanic sank on April 15th 1912 in the North Atlantic Ocean on it's maiden voyage after hitting an iceberg. The sinking brought about many safety regulations including the Radio Act of 1912 and the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea which stated that radio communications on passenger ships would be operated 24 hours a day, along with a secondary power supply, so as not to miss distress calls.

This little boy used over 30,000 Lego bricks to build his Titanic replica!
