Call me evil, but this actually made me chuckle.  The usually impervious and bullet-proof world of Disney suffered a bit of a blow over the weekend when an animatronic Ursula at Disney’s California Adventure freaked out ride-goers when the villain literally lost her head.

According to a story in today's New York Post, the decapitation happened in the theme park’s “Little Mermaid” ride,  where Ursula typically sings along to the Disney classic, “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” with the iconic movie’s animatronic cast.  Park visitors, adult and children alike, were stunned when the character's head freakishly fell off, dangling from cables. Oh the horror!

Disney park employees acted swiftly and efficiently and according to one visitor "right after the ride ended, we were ushered out along with everyone else, and the employees looked very concerned. Many people had seen Ursula decapitated, including kids who understandably were upset.”
