Just went you thought it was safe to go to bed, it looks like bed bugs are again on the rise in the Capital Region.

Just the thought of little critters in your bed, biting you, grosses you out, right? If this applies to you, this news will not make you feel good.

After finally dropping off Orkin's list of the top 50 Cities in the United States for bed bugs  last year, it looks like bed bugs are again gaining strength in numbers in 2018 as the Capital Region makes a return to the top 50. But maybe, it is just a soft short lived comeback.

The Albany-Schenectady-Troy metro re-entered the list at #50 this year. Not great that we are on it, but at least we are the best of the worst! And at least we are not the only New York city or town on the list. New York City actually dropped 4 spots to #8 this year, Buffalo lands at #20 and Syracuse is #33.
