Major League Baseball is finally back and we also found out that our local Minor League team will be back in June. The Tri-City Valley Cats announced that their season will begin on June 4th. They also said that fireworks will be part of some of the home games after parties.

We have been going to the Tri-City Valley Cats games for years and my son absolutely loves it. From the fun in between innings, games that are played, to the interactive dances and songs, it is always a good time. I selfishly loved the ability to have a catch with Ryan on the field before the game even started. It is such a fun family outing for us and I am so happy they are going to return this June.

According to CBS6 News, the Tri-City Valley Cats have changed leagues and are now part of the Frontier League. This league is different than the last in that there will be open tryouts at the stadium during spring training. There are sixteen teams in the league and they will play ninety-six games this season. There will be forty-eight home games and thirteen of those will have post-game fireworks at Joe Bruno Stadium in Troy.

No news yet on when tickets will go on sale but it appears to be sometime in May. More details about the Tri-City Valley Cats baseball tryouts and season should be coming in April.

I am just thrilled that they are able to keep baseball at Joe Bruno Stadium. It is such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or night as a family and have a lot of fun.
