Ballston Spa Free Movie & Concert Series Set For This Summer

Looking for some affordable family entertainment this summer in Saratoga County? Free movies and concerts in the park are back for 2021.

The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association (BSBPA) has announced they will once again be sponsoring a free move and a free concert series this summer.

Movies in the Park will be returning with special Friday showings of some family favorites all summer long in Wiswall Park. The series will kick off June 4th with a showing of "Trolls." That will be followed by a July 2nd showing of "The Croods," "Frozen" August 6th, "The Secret Life of Pets 2" September 3rd. Rain dates for all the movies are the next day with Iron Springs Park on standby as a backup location if needed. BSBPA says the showings get started at dusk which is usually right around 8:30-8:45pm.

If live music is more your thing, Concerts in the Park will be rocking every Thursday from 6 to 8pm July 1st through August 26th at Lions Music Park, located in Iron Springs Park. Some highlights of the live music schedule include the Ballston Spa Community Band kicking things off July 1st and the annual Ice Cream Social with The Union Fire Company Band on August 5th. Year-round the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association not only sponsors numerous local entertainment events in Ballston Spa, but also several that give back to the community including their drive-thru food pantries.
