Bacon Taster Wanted at Guilderland Store

If bacon is one of your favorite foods, if you can't get enough, there's a local business looking for a bacon tester and all of our dreams have come true!

Guilderland store, For the Love of Bacon, has just posted a job listing for an official Bacon Tester. The family-owned store, co-owned by Christine and Bob Chandler and their son, Bobby get their fresh meat from their Mariaville Farm, according to The Altamont Enterprise. They offer 15 different types of bacon alone, including hickory, maple cinnamon, and applewood and you could be the official tester to taste them.

It doesn't say much about requirements for a bacon tester except that they need someone to test new varieties of bacon and review them for customers. The job is volunteer and you'd have to report to their Western Avenue location.
