Attempted Deer Rescue Leads To Woman’s Rescue
A woman jumped into the Mohawk River in Waterford on Tuesday as an attempt to rescue a deer that had been in the river for a few hours.

In the story from News 10 ABC, fire crews were called to rescue the woman. She was holding on to a rope, as crews worked to rescue her.
Apparently there were several calls made to authorities to try to help the deer before the woman jumped into the river. The woman is alright, but sadly, the deer did not survive
