An area trampoline park known for high-flying family fun, has unfortunately taken its last flight; citing COVID-19 as the reason for their sudden shut down.

The message on the website for the Albany Flight Trampoline Park known as Airdrenaline Park was simple, straightforward and to the point.

"Dear Airdrenaline Guests,

We have permanently CLOSED.
We are sad to announce the permanent closure of our business due to COVID-19.
Thank you for all of the support over the past 5+ years, it has been a pleasure to serve you.

- The Airdrenaline Team"

The trampoline park located at 30A Post Road in Colonie had a successful run for 5 plus years here in the Capital Region.  I had a chance to go with my son and girlfriend on at least one occasion and we really enjoyed it.  The place was clean, staff attentive, and there was a lot to do.

In a letter written to the staff of the now-defunct trampoline park, an Albany Reddit user who  as a father routinely took his son there, was extremely sentimental upon hearing the news.

"I haven’t broken the news to my son yet, he still occasionally asks me if I think you’ll have that new giant play area all done when you reopen...we eagerly anticipated our arrival every week over the winter to see if you’d finished yet," he wrote. Adding, "that place was literally a part of my family for as long as I can remember being a father and I’m forever grateful and thankful and happy to have been a part of it."
