Apple Farmer Allegedly Got Threatened By His Neighbor For Spraying His Apple Tree
It seems that on Saturday, July 6, 2013, an apple farmer in Claverack (about 50 miles south of Albany), in Columbia County
was spraying some apple trees, but when he sprayed one particular apple tree, he upset his neighbor.
In a story from The Times Union, 64 year-old David Ensign of Claverack allegedly threatened his neighbor, the apple farmer, for spraying an apple tree that was on ensign’s property.Authorities charged Ensign with a couple of misdemeanors – menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. He has a court date on Tuesday.
