'American Pickers' Looking For Local Hidden Gems

The guys from the hit A & E Television Network show American Pickers are coming back to New York, and could possibly be scouring the area looking for unique gems stashed away in your basement, garage, junkyard and barns.

According to NewYorkUpstate.com, the show's celebrity pickers, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz from American Pickers, have begun the process of finding some unique treasures in New York and they're looking for some leads.

According to a report from the Olean Times Herald, a producer from the show began spreading the word that the show was looking to make it back to New York.

Emily Chafetz, who works on the show explained to the paper, "The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word far and wide so that people know we're coming to town," Emily Chafetz, who works on the show explained.

The show is pretty much open to anything, but they are specific about not visiting malls, flea markets or museums.
