So, exactly when was the last time we had a weekend in Albany with no precipitation?
You have to go back 7 months, November 16th and 17th, 2024, to be exact. That was the last time we got through a Saturday and Sunday with no precipitation. For 31 weekends since, we have seen some level of rain or wintry weather..
Maybe we did not notice the streak in late winter, but we have picked up on it through spring and summer. It seems like in Albany, we have been contending with rain whenever we make any weekend plans to get outside.
Will the streak continue? It looks that way, and the streak will hit 32 in a row.
Weekend Forecast: Some More Wet Weather On the Way
According to the News Channel 13 First Warning Forecast, Friday will bring clouds with showers and thunderstorms with highs in the low to mid 70s. High temperatures will reach the 80s on Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Drier weather will arrive on Sunday with highs again in the 80s. Temperatures will continue to rise to kick off the work week, reaching the high 80s on Monday.
