It has been overall a pretty mild winter, and forecasters are expecting more above average temperatures this spring,

Even though we have had a couple little snowstorms recently, overall it has been a pretty mild winter, the warmest on record so far for  the lower 48 according to the Weather Channel. And it looks like the warmer than normal temperatures will continue this spring.

The Weather Channel says, most of the country can expect warmer than average temps, especially Albany and the Northeast in general. Without getting too technical, arctic air will pretty much be hanging north of the lower 48 United States, hence the warmer temps here in Upstate New York.

So while the milder temps and this really wet snow we have been having has been annoying, some warm early spring days could be here before you know it. I say bring on spring and those warmer temps ASAP!
