If you thought it was exceptionally warm Tuesday, you were right. It was record breaking in fact.

According to the National Weather Service of Albany,we had a record high of 87 Tuesday! Wowza! This breaks the previous record high of 82, which was recorded April 11, 2011 and originally in 1945.

It was not only a record breaking high, but it just FELT like a hot, humid July day, right? It felt like we should have been getting ready for a show at SPAC, not Easter Sunday. The normal high this time of year is in the 50s, so this has definitely been an April heatwave if you could call it that.

If you are not a fan of the heat, it looks like temperatures will be pretty normal for the rest of the week according to my Apple weather app. And if you wish it would be 80 everyday, no worries: this is a sure sign that summer is right around the corner!
