We know Albany is great, and apparently the secret us out: US News and World Report has named Albany one of their top 100 places to live.

Albany did very well in the magazine's rankings, landing at #36 on the list! The ranking is based on quality of life and the job market. What are some of the things the article says lead to this ranking?

  • A 'lively downtown'
  • Albany's '...an old-world appeal' and low cost compared to other cities
  • Our great buildings and architecture, including the Empire State Plaza
  • Proximity to great recreation spots like the Berkshires and Finger lakes

We really do have it all here in the Capital Region. A great city vibe not only in Albany, but also in Troy and Schenectady, a solid job market, and plenty of beautiful nature spots nearby.

Life really is good in the Capital Region.
