The circus is coming to town, and with it comes the tradition of elephants and horses marching in Albany.

They are some of the stars from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's Circus-The Greatest Show On Earth, which will be at the Times Union Center this week from May 5 – May 8.

They will be strolling from the Port Of Albany, making their way to the Times Union Center. According to the Times Union, they’re scheduled to march at 6:30 a.m., Wednesday morning, but that could change. Leading the elephants and horses in the parade will be circus performers on an Albany Aqua Ducks tour bus.

The circus is a great event for family time. From little children to great grandma and grandpa, it’s sure to have something to entertain everyone. I saw the circus when it came to town before, and it was entertainment at its best for both me and my kids. This is one of those everyone should do at least once. Have you ever been to the circus?
