A Child’s Perspective With The ABCs Of Cancer [PICS]
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is an amazing place full of hope and promise. Inside is a wall that illustrates the "ABCs of Cancer". It is a child's perspective about what cancer is to each child. The artwork that is displayed is powerful and represents the feelings and emotions of the patients as they go through treatments. Every letter is represented and each one shares the raw emotions of the child who is undergoing cancer care. When reading through each letter and the pictures drawn, you can't help but notice the powerful words in the kid's handwriting and artwork. It is a brutally honest depiction of what they are going through.
At St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, no family ever receives a bill for travel, treatment, food or lodging. Donations from our 14th Annual Country Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon go directly to St. Jude so that they can continue to focus on curing childhood cancer. Please become a Partner In Hope. Your $20 donation per month (on your credit card) helps continue the fight. You will also receive a "This Shirt Saves Lives" t-shirt and tickets to our 2019 Heartstrings For Hope concert with Mitchell Tenpenny.
