WGNA's rich history of Countryfest dates all the way back to 1994. As we get set for another incredible show with Brantley Gilbert, Chris Janson and more at SPAC on July 12th, it was fun to go back in time and watch some older YouTube videos from the event. Over the years, venues and artists have changed, but one thing remains the same; this is a show where anything and everything can happen. From interesting people watching to seeing a superstar artist in their infancy stages (and just about everything in between) here are 8 awesome Countryfest moments caught on video. By the time Dan + Shay opened up for Rascal Flatts at Countryfest 2018, their song was "Tequila" was already a hit, but this moment seemed to symbolically launch them into super stardom.
