Oregon is by far the most stylish team in college football. The Ducks, thanks to Nike, have a mind-blowing number of uniform combinations, each more eye-catching than the next. Now, the team has focused its attention on wearing a uniform for a cause, as it plans on sporting pink shoes, socks and helmets to raise funds for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Oregon will take the field Saturday against Washington State with this new gear and will auction off 25 of the special edition helmets, with all proceeds from the auction going to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

For a team known for its wacky uniforms to put them to good use is definitely a positive thing to most, but there are plenty of fans that are just tired of all of the pink on the field every October.

Last year, even Sports Illustrated's Peter King received backlash after decrying the pink-clad month that has become a staple of NFL season. While there are certainly good things that come out of football's ties to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, some fans would rather just see their teams return to their normal colors.
