You gotta love kids! Listen learning the ins and outs and subtle nuances of the English language can indeed be difficult. I know for a fact, that both myself when I was young and my youngest child could not say the word "truck" without the adults around laughing and trying to make us say, "Fire Truck" over and over." Truth be told however, how many times does the word "truck" come up a day? Now, "Thank you" is something we try to teach our children early in life and want them to say it often. Maybe not so much a good idea with this kid however.
Did you get a chance to catch the ACM Awards last night? Well, if you didn't you missed some pretty good stuff and some pretty awkward moments too. When I first began thinking of writing about the show I was going to go with an article about the awkward moments, perhaps even let you rank them from "worst" to "no this was ever worse than that". I then thought, "No lets try to keep it positive Sean" and I will.
I'm not sure if you have heard about this story yet but I'm pretty sure it broke yesterday, I saw it in an article on "Gawker". It seems that superstar actor James Franco had a Instagram conversation that he had with a 17 year old from Scotland posted to "Imgur" by her. As I wrote this article I was reminded of an adage I once heard and still give as advice to friends who wonder if a girl is "too young for him". It says that if you want to have a relationship with a girl she has to be at least half your age plus 9. If you just want to "hook up", it's whatever is legal in that sate. (you know you will use it)
I have seen these things before, I think I have even seen them with "Game of Thrones" but for some reason this one just stands out as funny. A company called, io0.com produced a video of the opening credits of "Game of Thrones" but made it look and sound VERY much like an 80's sitcom. Like I said, I've seen these before but this one is just believable enough to make you want to watch it if the show were really like this!
I was thinking about trying to find some old video clips for throwback Thursday and I looked and looked at things from WGNA throughout the years and although it is only a year old I thought this video from Countryfest 2013 would be the most fun. I think it will be fun for everyone to look through the video and see if they can find themselves, or art least remember (if you can) what you were doing at that time.
Do you have a teenager? If you do I think you will agree there is always something, something about them you just can't seem deal with and you talk to them, fight with them, ground them and nothing seems to work. So what do you do? Have you ever thought about going to some extreme to get your point across? Well this guy did, and from what I understand so far, it has worked.

Kip Moore was recently asked why he chose to light up a cigarette in his latest video for "Young Love." I guess there are those who believe that it sets a bad example for young people.
Kip said, "My whole deal with doing that in the video was, when I was a teenager I would smoke from time to time. It was supposed to be everything how I did it back then." So basically, he's just keeping it real.
Wow, I really can't believe how much I love this video. Every time I see something like this I think , I wish I could have this for a job. Just spend everyday trying to find ways to make people happy, to reward random people for putting others before themselves. The only sad thing is that there are just so many good people out there who deserve it, you just couldn't help them all. You have to start somewhere though right?
Wow, 9 years. I can not believe that I have been waiting that long just to find out how Ted met his wife. Here we are though just about to have it all wrapped up and hopefully all of our questions answered. Tonight we will experience what Jason Segal (Marshall) says, is sure to be one of the great finales. In a recent interview with CNN he said, " I don't want to go out on a limb, but I will. This is potentially the best finale of any show ever ... with the possible exception of the second "Newhart" series."
If you listen to the "Sean and Richie Show" at all you probably know that I am a nerd, a geek, a "trekie" or whatever other word you want to throw at me. These names for me however are badges that as an adult I wear proudly, as a child however it wasn't always that easy. So how do you handle it when you are called names in school? Wil Wheaton most recently of "The Big Bang Theory," was recently asked this by a youngster at Denver's Comic Con.
I don't know if you are a bowler or not but chances are most everyone has taken to the lanes for a few fun games with friends. I have to say, it is something I have always wished I were better at but I just don't have the talent or patience it would take to even break 200. That is why anyone who can bowl a perfect 300 or even come close to it is pretty impressive to me. This guy, ... I have no words.
