Who and What was your favorite moment from Countryfest 2013? Feel free to leave you comments below.  I'll get the conversation going by picking my favorite of the day.

Although every artist was great in their own way, my personal favorite for the day was Joe Diffie.

Joe Diffie rocked through his Number One hits of the '90s like 'John Deere Green' 'Third Rock From The Sun' and 'Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox When I Die.' Then, delighted the crowd with some interaction and fun chatter between songs, including his reaction to Jason Aldean's tribute '1994.' As Diffie put it, 'how could I not like it, it's a tribute to ME!' Then, Joe Diffie surprisingly sang some of the song, ironically ending with the lyrics 'will the REAL Joe Diffie please stand up!?'

Then came a moving tribute to his heroes Randy Travis and George Jones. Joe Diffie honored Travis with '1982,' followed by Jones' 'He Stopped Loving Her Today.'  Furthermore, Diffie encouraged younger fans to download and discover their music. Another highlight included a collaboration with Mark Wills on the compelling song 'Ships That Don't Come In,' which they dedicated to the men and women in uniform.

Obviously, another big highlight was the Countryfest Crowd 'Get Well' greeting to Randy Travis, you can watch it here.
