WizardFest Coming to Skyloft, Crossgates Mall

Two bits of Harry Potter news in one week? What did we do to be so lucky? An event was just announced at Crossgates Mall for all local Potterheads to get together and celebrate our favorite boy wizard.

WizardFest was first announced for Upstate Concert Hall in October until it was recently cancelled. No worries, Potter fans, they have found a new venue in WizardFest at Skyloft in Crossgates Mall according to a Facebook event.

WizardFest will be coming Wednesday, November 20th at 8:00pm. According to the event, "Fans of all things magic, witches, sorcerers and the half blood prince will need to make a special trip to Alley for a fresh pair of dress robes because Wizard Fest is flying into town. The evening will include trivia, cosplay, wizard themed music, games and more. The best dressed will also have a chance to enter into the Costume Contest for cash and prizes."

There are a couple of ticket options, each with various access and some which include a goodie bag and/or a wand of your choice of color - assuming you're going to pick your house color.
