Why Did TJ's Cafe Close?
It was a Facebook post from owner Todd Leach that announced TJ's Cafe would be closing. It read:
To our valued customers, dear friends, family, and customers who have become friends and family… it is with a heavy heart that I must announce the closing of TJ’s Cafe after almost 26 years in business.
The post explained that the restaurant's closing was related to the pandemic. It included increasing costs in food and supplies, staff shortages, overworked employees, and supply chain issues. It took a toll on all who worked there.
TJ's Cafe originally opened in 1996 and was a popular restaurant for casual dining and drinks.
