Every Wednesday we enjoy a musical memory on the Country Cafe!

This week we honor an artist from New England! Country Music is full of stars from Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and all over the southern half of the United States. Today we shine the light on one of those rare Northeast stars that became a star in Nashville.  Jo Dee Messina was born in Framingham, Mass. and raised in Holliston, Mass.. In 1996, Messina breaks through with her first hit 'Heads Carolina, Tails California.'

This week's WGNA.com 'Way Back Wednesday' feature is by Hank Williams, Jr.. As 'Bocephus' prepares to play the 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain (June 15), we feature a fun classic from 1987. 'Born To Boogie' is Hank Williams, Jr.'s biography wrapped up in two-and-a-half minute Number One record.
