One lucky Warren County man is cashing in on a five-dollar scratch-off ticket that he purchased at an Upstate New York  Walmart. He is now an instant millionaire.

This $5 New York Lottery scratch-off ticket is a bonus money scratch-off game called More Money. In this game, the top prize is one million dollars, with two chances to win bonus cash.

According to the New York Lottery, Christian Simmons of Lake George purchased the winning More Money New York Lottery scratch-off ticket from a kiosk inside the Walmart Supercenter at 891 Route 9 in Queensbury.

Christian Simmons opted to receive the lump sum of $441,999 after taxes and withholdings. That was the last top jackpot for the More Money New York Lottery scratch-off game.

There was another recent one-million-dollar scratch-off ticket winner. A Capital Region man became an instant millionaire in early December by scratching off a $10 Bonus Cashword ticket. Willard Dorsey of Albany purchased the winning ticket at MNZ Mart at 222 South Pearl Street in Albany.

Willard Dorsey also decided to take the lump sum and collected a total of $436,173, after required taxes and withholdings. There are three top prizes left on the $10 Bonus Cashword New York lottery scratch off game.
