Two Catskill Schools In Lockdown – Pellet Gun In Locker
When one student told the staff that another student might have a weapon, two Catskill Schools (the middle school and high school) went into lockdown, as per emergency protocol.
It happened on Thursday morning about 10:00 a.m. for about an hour.
The Catskill Police conducted a search and found a pellet gun inside one of the lockers. The student that was allegedly involved was arrested, and will be treated as a juvenile.
In the story from WNYT, Dr. Kathleen Farrell, the Superintendent, said that there were no injuries, and mentioned that everything ended safely.
