Try Out To Sing The National Anthem For the ValleyCats

Baseball season is right around the corner and the ValleyCats are holding auditions for National Anthem singers.

It's almost time to play ball which means the ValleyCats need some local singers to perform the National Anthem this summer. According to the Times Union, the ValleyCats will hold anthem tryouts at Crossgates Mall Saturday, April 14 at 10am (Registration begins at 9:30am that day). The session will be held on the lower level outside Lord and Taylor.

The tryouts will determine who gets to sing the anthem at the ValleyCats 4th of July game! The Times Union says other finalists will the chance to sing at other games throughout the year.

So grab some peanuts and Cracker Jax, and get ready for another season of ValleyCats baseball. The team opens the season at the Joe June 15 against the Vermont Lake Monsters and you can get more info on tickets and their schedule of games here.
