Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah Is A DAD!

Triple Crown winner, American Pharoah is a dad!!

It’s not every day a horse being born makes news, but when it’s the son of the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years – America needs to know all about it!

American Pharoah made the announcement himself on Tuesday via Facebook.  Ok, maybe he didn’t make the announcement HIMSELF, but it did come from his Facebook account!   Take a look at the cute announcement:

We don’t know the foals name yet, but his mom is Kakadu.  We did learn however that for every healthy foal sired, the owners of American Pharoah’s stud rights, Ashford Stud, are said to get $200,000.  I bet this won’t be his last!

American Pharoah did run locally in the 2015 Travers Stakes Race in Saratoga in 2015 but was beat out in the end by Keen Ice.  I hope one day this foal, or another sibling, will race in Saratoga.  I’m sure all eyes will be on this little one’s career!
