Spring is still a couple of weeks away and the cold weather has had most of us still hibernating but it is time to change our clocks this weekend.

Early tomorrow morning at 2:00 a.m. Sunday March 9 one hour of time will "vanish" as we push our clocks forward one hour and mark the return to Daylight Savings Time.

Since 2007, Daylight Savings Time begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

So it's time to spring AHEAD this weekend.

We lose an hour of sleep - or an hour of whatever else you're doing overnight at 2:00 a.m -and it will still be cold...but the sun will be setting later in the day which certainly will seem like a sign that Spring is ahead!
