In the 80s, we grew up going to the drive-in movies. The one we went to the most was the Malta Drive-In. It's great to know that they are still in business, and now we bring our family there to keep the tradition going.

The Malta Drive-In is bringing us back to when we were kids, offering Throwback Thursday nights. Every Thursday evening in the months of July and August, they are showing some of the most popular movies of the 80s and 90s.

In honor of the fiftieth anniversary of Jaws, the Malta Drive-In will be showing the thriller on Labor Day weekend.

These Are The 23 Drive-In Theaters Left In NY State

New York State has the highest drive-in movie theater screens in the country. That means there's probably one not too far from wherever you are. There are a handful here in the Capital Region. 
Back in the swinging '60s, drive-in theaters were all the rage, with over 4,000 scattered across the country and a whopping one hundred fifty right here in New York State alone. But times have changed, and now only twenty-three of these nostalgic gems are left in New York State. Check them out.
