Thomas the Tank Engine Visiting Upstate New York this Weekend
Thomas the Tank Engine is an iconic television program and this weekend you and your kids have a chance to see him in real life!
Thomas the Tank Engine has been in popular culture since 1946! Thomas and Friends have touched generations of children and their families and you can see the life-sized version coming to Upstate New York this weekend.
"Thomas and Friends: A Day Out with Thomas, The Steam Team Tour" is coming to the Catskills this weekend. Friday, August 9th - Sunday, August 11th and then again, Friday, August 16th-Sunday, August 18th you and your family can sign up for a certain time slot for about $20/person. With that, you get to take a 25 minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine to meet Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway. Through the ride are various activities including "temporary tattoos, hands-on arts and crafts, and a Thomas storytelling and video viewing area," according to their website.
Thomas and Friends will be at the Arkville station in the Catskills along the Delaware & Ulster Railroad. There is plenty of free parking and a snack bar and tons to do with the whole family for the entire day!
