How about this weather, huh?  Albany's Washington Park was filled with runners, couples walking, families going for strolls and it felt like late April on January 11th.  People were wearing shorts, t-shirts, and at most hoodies. Albany's mid-September warm-up looks like it will continue.

We're expecting a BEAUTIFUL day Saturday. It's sad to think that this could be the last we see of the mid-60s for a while (unless we have a magical winter like last year - I won't hold my asthmatic breath.) So, how should you spend it? I have a few ideas!

Waking up is tough enough, but waking up feeling allergic to everything is brutal. That's how my Easter started.

There is so much to do and so much fun to be had as soon as that warm weather kicks into full gear here in the Capital Region.

I don't know if you have heard yet but meteorologist are getting crazy lately about the potential El Nino that we will be experiencing this year. In fact they say that it could be even stronger than the El Nino of 1997. SO, what does that mean for us? They say it should mean a warmer drier winter. I will gladly take that.

With the weather getting warmer in the Capital District, it is time to get back to those places we forgot about once the temperatures dropped.

Every year, so many people that are from the Albany area look forward to a few places to open up, especially after a long and cold winter.

Winter doesn't bother me at first – the snow just adds a special touch to the holiday season, and getting the electric blanket and fireplace going again can be nice.  But after a couple months, the cold makes it harder for cars to start, you have to scrape the ice off the windshield and you get tired of paying the heat bill...

In the back of our house in Niskayuna there are already a swarm of bees hiding somewhere.  They hover over our deck area, and I can't figure out where they are originating from.  It's bad enough when they are somewhere in your house, but how about when they get into your CAR, like in this guy's case?
