The Contents of Your Purse Are Worth How Much?

I don't know about you, but I don't really carry very much cash at all.  I might have $10 in my wallet right now.  But, apparently just because we don't carry a lot of cash around these days, it doesn't mean that purses aren't worth stealing.

It turns out the average woman is carrying almost $5,000 worth of stuff with her at all times!  Wait, what?!  That can't be true!

The most expensive things are:  A smart phone, another gadget like an iPad or Kindle, sunglasses, a make-up bag, the makeup itself and the purse itself.

Hmmmmmm... this seems like an awful lot.  I did a quick estimate of the bag that I carry to work everyday and even with my computer in it, we're not even talking about $2,000!

So, what am I missing here?  What are you girls carrying around in your bags that is worth so much money?
