The Capital Region’s Top Uber Destination May Surprise You

Uber ride-share users are heading to this destination the most in the Albany area.

You would think it would be the airport or a popular nightlife destination, but when it comes to Capital Region Uber riders, their most popular destination is the Walmart Supercenter! Yes, I know, that came out of left field! But according to a Times Union story, that is the destination Uber riders are heading to the most. The rest of the top 5 is pretty much what you would expect for this list: Crossgates Mall, Rivers Casino, and a couple destinations at UAbany.

The more you think about it, the more Walmart makes sense. I am sure a lot of folks who live in the city and have no need for owning a vehicle utilize ride-sharing for easy access to go shopping.
