Rotterdam Wins Best Tasting Tap Water Award

There was a New York State Tap Water Taste contest held at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, and one Capital Region community came out on top.

A lot of people who were at the fair got to sample several different communities’ tap water systems, and Rotterdam was ranked No.1. This is great news for our own local community, especially since they’ve had some problems recently. That includes several water main breaks.

In the article from the Times Union, the winning community (Rotterdam) was announced on Tuesday by Dr. Howard A. Zucker, who’s the New York State Acting Health Commissioner.
