Taste Of Country 101: Here’s What You Need To Know
The Taste of Country Music Festival kicks off today at 3pm, and in case your wondering what you can bring into the festival grounds and more, here's what you need to know.
You've got your tickets, you know what artists you want to see and now the regular questions come up: where you want to be and when, how to navigate the grounds and what you can and cannot bring in to the show.
Well, first things first: for all the info you need, download the Taste of Country Festival App. This has the show schedule, maps, great contests and all the info you need to know about the festival.
Most importantly, you will be out in the sun and elements all day, and you want to be prepared right? And you don't want to worry about stuff, you want to worry about music. It's the biggest festival of the summer, so the last thing you want to be worried about is getting your stuff confiscated at security. So here is the list of approved items you can bring in:
- Small Bags: Bags will be restricted to small purses and draw string bags and may not exceed 14″ x 11″ x 5″ (35cm x 28cm x 12cm). No bags or backpacks with multiple pockets, Camelbaks can only have one additional pocket and must be empty upon entry.
- Hats
- Rain gear
- Ear plugs
- Empty plastic water bottle
- 1 sealed water bottle per person
- Empty Camelbaks with one pocket
- Basic camera
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Presciptions
If the item you want to bring in is not on this list, I recommend you check out the list of items you cannot bring in. The last thing you want is something valuable to get confiscated while you are heading in!
All the info you need is on the app of on the TOC website if you have any questions throughout the weekend, or you can always ask the staff working the festival!
Most importantly - enjoy the festival!!
