Our cold October and November may be the best inidicator of what is to come this winter.

According to the Weather Channel: Snow this morning will give way to partly cloudy conditions this afternoon. Some mixed winter precipitation possible. High 33F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 100%. About one inch of snow expected.

The weather last night was pretty bad and there were a lot of people stuck around the Capital region. When it comes to snow/sleet & freezing rain sometimes it's just better to stay off the roads. Unlike these people... A friend of mine caught these guys having trouble on his street and one of them will probably have to get some work done to their car because of it! No...

This has been a somewhat extreme winter, although about 25 to 30 years ago it always use to be cold and snowy all season.

It’s the first really cold day our area has had in about two years – maybe you need some reminders for how to prevent frostbite.  Frostbite is a serious condition and involves the skin freezing and losing normal sensations.  There is a reduction in oxygen and blood flow to the affected parts of the body, which are most often your feet and toes, hands, fingers nose or ears...

March is here and we're being reminded that it's still winter. Our area is being blasted one more time and getting hit with almost everything.

It's been a while, but we have some nasty weather on the way.

As reporters were interviewing a Pittsburgh safety about the big game this Sunday, he kept interrupting them to complain about the cold.

I didn't think I'd have to inform you already, but we have more snow on the way. Once again, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 12 noon tomorrow (January 14th). Most of us could get at least 3-5 inches.

Here we go again.

The best winter driving tip is to not drive in bad weather if you can avoid it. Unfortunately we all have to get to work so here are some tips to get us there and home safely.
