As the weather gets warmer and spring approaches, there are warnings about coyotes in and around the Capital Region. The DEC wants residents to follow certain guidelines regarding these animals.
I realize that wild animals are all around us. They live nearby in the woods behind neighborhoods and homes, but we don't always see them during the day walking up and down driveways in the Capital Region.
I had no idea what animals could be lurking in our backyards here in the Capital Region. It always surprises me when a bear suddenly appears in Albany. There are also new animals that I had never heard of like the coydog that has been seen in neighborhoods across our area. But this one I had no idea lived in the woods in the 518.

Sean got so afraid of a mouse that he slept in his buddy's car, Nick's super worried about wild boar, and I stay out of nature purely because I don't want to have animal encounters...
This is just such a cute story and I know how you all love your kitty cats. According to locals around the Leningrad Zoo in Russia, this calico wandered into the zoo hungry and found food in the enclosure which housed a Lynx. Normally this would not be a good scenario for the house cat but in this case, not only did she find food, but a best friend.
