As expected, Pixar’s ‘Cars 2′ easily took first place at the weekend box office, netting a healthy $68 million. That’s about $8 million higher than the original ‘Cars,’ which opened to $60.1 million in 2006.

My brother Stephen got married over the weekend and as with any wedding it was a pretty joyous event - but most of all I was so proud to see my kid brother get married. If any two people should be married, it’s him and his now wife Meredith. They have a beautiful child and  I am so lucky to finally be an uncle. The best part of the day though is getting the entire family together.

Technically it isn't Summer until June 21st but the sun was shining today and the weather was warm and it got me in a summertime mood. We have a couple days of very hot weather in store for us here in the capital region. I am also sure that before the summer is over we will probably have at least a couple of really intense heat waves, so I thought I'd research some tips to keep cool.
