Stink Bugs

Bad news: you're not the only one in your house seeking refuge from the cold.

Those dreaded stink bugs have returned to the Capital Region and more specifically inside my house. I don't like to kill any bugs. Even with stink bugs, I try and "shoo" them out of the screen windows or sliders but there are times that I am too forceful and squish them. Everyone knows what happens when you kill skink bugs, they STINK!! That's why they are named what they are.

It is still 2020 so get ready for the return of the stink bug. Experts say that there could be a major influx in these annoying bugs this season.

You may have not liked how this winter started, but because of the freezing cold temperatures, it may have knocked out one of the most annoying insects.

Insects; the often useful yet sometimes gross and pesky critter!  Some are just flat out more annoying than others.  The stink bug is one of them.  These pesky critters were everywhere last spring and summer, and according to experts, they'll be making a comeback this season, perhaps worse than ever.

You'd think with it officially being fall, we wouldn't have to worry about creepy crawlers infiltrating our houses but this little bugger is making its way so keep a look-out.
