Yes, it's true. The iconic Snowman Ice Cream in the Lansingburgh section of Troy has officially been sold. After close to 70 years in business, the most recent owner said it was just time to slow down and spend more time with his family.
I don't know about you, but I'm done with winter. It's been cold, slushy and rainy and while the weather hasn't been terrible, it's been just annoying enough to make you not really be able to do much. It didn't work so well.
Turns out the snow was too fluffy and not "good packing" snow.
