Planning to take a hike through the woods this summer, you should take some extra precautions to protect yourself from ticks.

We are at the end of Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and in recognition, officials from The New York State Health Department and Saratoga County health officials conducted what they’re calling “tick sweeps”.

If you love being outdoors, camping, going into the woods and walking on trails, you may want to be extra careful and take some extra precautions.
