CounselingPychology surveyed Americans in every state to determine the level of anxiety across the country about gun violence, and New York ranked amongst the highest.

These 11 cities have the highest rates of violent gun crimes in New York State.

Within the first six months of 2022, New York State Police seized 98 percent more guns than the prior year.

At the beginning of July Governor Cuomo declared a “gun violence disaster emergency” in the state of New York. With this declaration comes state funding to address the issue.

I live in Albany. You know, the city that literally seems to have gun violence daily, sometimes two or three times a day. If you didn't know any better, you'd think it was the Wild Wild West with all the shootouts.  It's weird.  I don't feel unsafe in the city I live in, I truly don't.  But if I didn't live here - and I was on the outside looking in,  I'd be like,  "f**k that, I'm not living

What the hell is going on around here?  Yet another shooting .  I'm sickened to even have to report this, but that's our job
