Every time I hand my son Brody a little baseball bat, he makes believe it's a guitar. So for his second birthday (which was on Saturday) we decided to get him a $20 kids guitar and he literally won't won't put it down! Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure he's going to become the next great guitar prodigy and here's the reason why:
When Garth Brooks was in the Capital Region for the first time after 20 years back in March, it was exciting. I don't know if I've ever felt that kind of energy in the Times Union Center before. It truly was an experience rather than a concert.
It was the first time I was able to see the man himself in person and the way he commands a stage is unlike anything else.
Brian, Chrissy & I like to end every show with a good news story. It's one way to not only end the show on a happy note but to hopefully start your day with a smile. I look for and wide for local good news or just anything that puts a smile on my face to share, this morning I found this little boy.
You gotta start somewhere, right? Conan was a young guy in Hollywood just trying to make it, so he took a job making a training video and it's perfectly awkward!
I love how you can find just about anything on youtube these days, and if you're like Conan, you know the best way to deal with stuff coming out of the woodwork from your past, is to release it yourself...
Although the original incident I am describing happened quite awhile ago, I just stumbled upon this last nite and I must admit, I got quite the chuckle out of it. (Although I bet a certain airline isn’t laughing)
