Family Tradition

I grew up in a large Italian family and every Christmas we would have homemade macaroni. My grandparents would make many pounds of it leading up to the holiday and now that my grandmother has passed, we are continuing the tradition.

This was yet another labor of love - to pay tribute to a living legend who is hanging up his pinstripes and retiring his number 2.  It was a big moment in sports history without question.  It deserved a song!

Thanksgiving is such a great tradition. And after listening to Hank Williams Jr.'s "Family Tradition" the other night, I realized that with just a little alteration in the lyrics I can tell you about what happens in our household around this time of year.  Hopefully you can relate!
