One of the biggest sporting events in the world this weekend will lead to many parties to enjoy the excitement of the big game and law enforcement officials want motorists to travel safely to and from them.

There seems to be too many stories about people leaving their kids in the car while they do amazingly irresponsible things, sometimes for hours. This one may be the worst, or best, depending on how you look at it.

Remember the ice cream truck "Turf Wars" that got Gloversville national attention? If you don't the driver of the "Mr. Ding-A-Ling" ice cream truck filed a complaint against competitor, "Sno-Cone-Joe", saying that they were harassing him. I think right now that driver wishes that his rivals were his biggest problem.

Were you surprised to see Josh Brent on the sidelines at Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I don’t know how these people managed to be able to stand up, but they had a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .30 to .35.

It was 4:00 a.m. on November 30, and a man tried to buy beer, but the sales clerk refused to sell it to him.

You should not do this anytime, but if you are out at a party and are going to have one or two just have one or two and stop. Get a designated driver, call a cab, or stay the night where you are. Safety first.

I had to share this with you today. In a world where it seems the people who are good honest hard working folks just can't seem to get a break, and the bad selfish people get the rewards, this is payback.

Not only do you have to watch out for the icky weather during the winter, but Superbowl weekend, there will also be DWI check points.  So if you'll be partying it up for the big game, Sunday, be sure to limit it to pizza, wings and soda or have a designated driver.
