The Capital Region has many athletes that have won championships. We can now add another one to the growing list. This time it's an axe thrower from Rensselaer.
After getting a little behind on episodes due to the Holidays I am excited to report that one of the Capital Region's own is still in the game on Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship!
If you think you have what it takes to be the next American Idol, this weekend could put you on the right track. American Idol is holding auditions this weekend and it's the only stop in New York state.
When we started this team just over a year ago, the goal was to have fun. Some of us were coming from a team that wasn't playing as a team, with that came a lot of losses and a lot of unnecessary drama. The finger kept getting pointed and the fun was taken out of it. After 25+ years of playing the game, I honestly thought, maybe I was done.
I'll start this by saying, I wasn't the best student.
History wasn't my thing. I failed math...twice. I don't even know if I've ever watched anyone play chess, let alone know how to play it.
What I'm trying to say is, I'm incredibly jealous of Martha Samadashvili, a 12-year old girl from Albany who is literally representing the entire country right now in this international chess championship.

When I came in to work this morning I saw this list and I was like, "Ew! I hate competitive moms!" But then, I started reading the list and I got a little nervous because I'm totally guilty of a lot of them!
I'm never really sure why we women type make it a competition to see who can be the best mom...

The "Daily Dilemma" on the Sean and Richie Show is featured every weekday morning at 6:40am. We and the listeners take on someone's problems and try to offer different perspectives. Now, these don't have to be huge problems- it could just be something bothering you or a friend, or it could be some little thing you and another just can't agree on. If you have a dilemma to share we'd love

I find it annoying sometimes when a group of my friends & I or my family & I go to order pizza, but no one can agree on what type of pizza because everyone wants something different. There's a level of commitment there -- once you order toppings, you're stuck with that type of pizza.
