Recently, there seems to be more and more articles in the paper about pets being left "out in the cold" or in a dumpster because no one wants to unexpected litter of kittens/pups or the mother of the said litter because maybe they can't afford the pet anymore or some other absurd reason.

How many times do you get these "dog trick" videos sent to you from friends?   Many times, if you're like me,  maybe you watch 10 seconds of them, or callously hit "delete" and forget about the whole thing.  Well, 5 seconds of this one hooked me into watching the rest.  A "10" on the "cutesy meter" for sure

How many stupid, inane YouTube videos cross your desk each week?  I can't even count them anymore.  But this one just cracked me up.  Take a minute and get ready to "guffaw" your head off

I always love these mindless stories that you don't have to think too hard about -but just amuse the heck out of you, don't you?  Here's one of them-a sheep that thinks it's a dog!

Let me start by saying that I do not, and would not purposely do anything to harm animals. They are living creatures and it’s just wrong. I don’t hunt, but I know there is a purpose for it. The animals I’m talking about are those grey and white little furry critters – Squirrels.

We love hearing about animals being saved. This little puppy should be named “lucky”. From a story from the Associated Press, at the animal shelter in Sulpher, Oklahoma, there were five stray dogs that were dropped off, because they all seemed very ill.

I'm not sure how long you've been a WGNA blog-reader (and we appreciate it, by the way), but back in late December I wrote about an argument I had with my wife about getting a second dog. If you don't feel like clicking on that, I'll summarize here.  I lost.

So you think you're dog can talk. We all know they really can't speak "human". Although sometimes it seems like they can. I love some of the videos of dogs doing cool things, like talking. So here's a neat little collection of some great conversationalists...

This is exciting stuff.  The Dog Whisperer is coming to the Palace Theatre on Sunday, March, 27th.  Makes me want to sing about it!

My wife and I have been having an ongoing discussion about getting another puppy. Depending on what side of the discussion one falls on, it's going well or not so well.
