Twelve men were busted for attempting discreet encounters and sexual hook-ups with minors in the Capital Region and beyond.  Ages for the children ranged from 9-14 and of the 12 men arrested, one was a substitute bus driver from Mechanicville while one was a local radio DJ from Glens Falls.

News 10 ABC has the sickening story of the sting dubbed "Operation Spider Byte" in which The Warren County Sheriff’s Department along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and New York State Police Office took on identities in online chat rooms to entice people to meet up with what they thought were young girls between the ages of 9 and 14.  None of the children in fact were real, but authorities are not ruling out any illegal encounters these perverts may have had with real children in our area and beyond.

The radio DJ from Glens Falls is 49 year old Timothy Celeste who was fired recently from WNYQ 101.7.  I've been in radio for 24 and a half years, and I have never heard of this man nor the station he used to work for prior to this story.
