Some of the biggest talk from the State of the Union address was not about politics. Social media lit up with comments centered around special guest Willie Robertson of the popular A&E television show Duck Dynasty.

While some politicians took the chance to pose with Willie and Korie Roberston, others may have felt that his visit was a distraction.

According to Eonline, Robertson's invitation was compliments of Louisiana Rep. Vance McAllister- "as a thank you for throwing his support behind McAllister last year, helping to propel the congressman to victory."  According to TMZ, "McAllister said he invited them to bring some diversity to our nation's capitol."

What do you think? Was it cool to see a 'celebrity' in attendance? Perhaps his visit may inspire more people to tune in and get involved with politics? Was it distracting? Do you feel it was inappropriate for a politician to invite a celebrity as a 'thank you?' Do you think any of the Robertson's might get into politics?
