Shirtless Man Threatened to Jump Off the Everett Road Overpass

This morning Interstate 90 and Everett Road had to be closed in both directions when a man was found threatening to jump off the overpass onto the highway below, and shouting obscenities.   The road was closed for about an hour between 8am and 9am while police negotiated with the man. 
The Everett Road overpass is about 20 feet high over I-90, according to Mayor Jennings.  The man was taken into custody by police.  Story was reported by Times Union.
